The War Memorial in St Peter's churchyard Great Walsingham, Norfolk Photo taken July 2001 by Leigh Yeager
"Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends" This is the inscription on one side of the war memorial to be found just inside the gate of St Peter's churchyard. It was erected "In proud and grateful remembrance of the men of Great Walsingham who gave their lives for King and country in the war 1914-1919"
